On Thursday, April 13, DNCE released the playful three-minute summer track which is expected to be featured in the band's forthcoming project.

AceShowbiz - Dance-rock band DNCE has released a perfect summer anthem titled "Kissing Strangers" featuring Nicki Minaj. The track is very catchy with a little bit of funky vibe and classy jam. With some slick lines from Nicki, the song is a perfect summer-dance hit. In addition, the catchy chorus and the playful lyrics with a series of "na-na-na-na" will make us immediately obsessed with the song.

The lyrics are fun and easy to learn, such as "Kissing strangers/ Till I find someone I love/ Kissing strangers/ Till I find someone I trust." Nicki's verses, additionally, make the track more playful and fun. "I got a boy that I kinda like/ This is a kiss-kiss, tongue him down kind of night/ He got that bomb, I think I'mma call him dynamite/ I gotta lotta sons, I can show you all the sonograms," Nicki spits.

"Kissing Strangers" shows a development of DNCE's musical style. The group seemingly wants to create something different, as the new track is slightly different from their global hit song "Cake by the Ocean", although both are equally catchy. There is still no confirmation whether "Kissing Strangers" would be featured on DNCE's upcoming album which is expected to arrive this year.

Prior to this, both DNCE and Nicki teased fans with their collaboration. They took to social media to share some photos of them in the music video filming set of "Kissing Strangers", including a photo in which Nicki's "roughing up" DNCE's frontman Joe Jonas. From the snaps, at least fans now know that the video would be Western-themed. Seeing that they already filmed the music video, it seems the clip will arrive soon enough.

Meanwhile for Nicki Minaj, "Kissing Strangers" is now a part of her growing list of collaborative tracks. While her fans are anticipating her new album, she seems quite busy this year contributing to other artists' songs. Her contribution to the songs is undeniably successful, as all of her collaborative tracks this year have entered some music charts such as Jason Derulo's "Swalla", Gucci Mane's "Make Love", David Guetta's "Light My Body Up" and Major Lazer's "Run Up".
