Kevin Hart Enrolls in Universal Comedy 'Night School'

The 37-year-old multi-talented entertainer will star in and produce the upcoming comedy flick, which will see Hart reuniting with Tim Story who is in negotiations to direct the project.

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart seems to have a busy year ahead. On the heels of filming "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" and "Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie", the 37-year-old actor/comedian will star in and produce the upcoming Universal Pictures comedy titled "Night School".

The film will feature Hart as the leader of a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes while they try to pass the EGD exam. The project will see Hart reuniting with Tim Story, who is currently in negotiations to direct the comedy flick after previously collaborating with Hart as the director of "Ride Along" in 2014.

Hart will produce "Night School" via his Hartbeat Production company alongside Will Packer, who is working via his Will Packer Productions. "The Secret Life of Pets" voice actor also shares writing credit with Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells and Matt Kellard, with additional script by Nick Stoller. A release date and full cast members are expected to be announced shortly.

Hart starred in four comedies last year, including "Ride Along 2", "Central Intelligence", "The Secret Life of Pets" and his concert film "Kevin Hart: What Now?". The award-winning comedian's also starring with Bryan Cranston and Nicole Kidman in the upcoming "Untouchable", the remake of French film "The Intouchables". Directed by Neil Burger, the comedy flick is expected to hit U.S. theaters next year.
