The English actor reveals that production on the next installment of Netflix's series will begin later this year, making fans assume that the show may return in summer or fall 2018.

AceShowbiz - The wait for "Daredevil" season three has been a torture for fans after the previous two seasons earned good reviews. However, a new report, coming from the main actor of the Netflix series, suggests that fans may see the return of their favorite hero sometime next year.

When Charlie Cox guested on "Film and Telly Stuff With Luke And Al" radio show, he was asked about the next installment of "Daredevil". "I do that later in the year. We'll go back and do that," the English actor revealed.

Although Cox didn't give the exact release date, his revelation suggested that the third season of the popular series would indeed come on the streaming giant sometime this year. Should the filming begin in fall this year after Cox's short break from all the promotion of "Marvel's The Defenders", fans speculate that it's most likely that the new season may get released around summer or fall of 2018.

Last July, Netflix unveiled a short teaser for the upcoming season 3 of "Daredevil". However, it didn't offer many details nor unveiled the exact release date. Thus, this news may excite fans of the Man Without Fear.

Besides Cox, "Daredevil" stars Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, Elodie Yung, Jon Bernthal, Stephen Rider, Vincent D'Onofrio, Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis-Hall and Royce Johnson.

Although "Daredevil" season three's release date remains to be seen, fans get to watch Daredevil back in action on "Marvel's The Defenders" which is slated to premiere on August 18.
