Rumor has it, the 'Camp Rock' actress is upset about Meghan being featured on a soundtrack of 'Smurfs: The Lost Village'.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato and Meghan Trainor will lend their voices in upcoming movie "Smurfs: The Lost Village". However, it is rumored that Demi is upset about Meghan recording a song for the movie soundtrack instead of her. A source told OK! Magazine that Demi was "sure she could have done better."

The so-called source also claimed that the "Heart Attack" songstress was "offended by Meghan's presence" and even "rolls her eyes" every time the film's director, Kelly Asbury, "gushes about Meghan's music." It looks like Demi is jealous with her fellow singer. "Meghan's oblivious, but she'd better not try to walk the red carpet with Demi," the source added.

The rumor, however, has been denied. It is reported that the claim about tensions between Demi and Meghan because of jealousy is "absolutely not true."

In the upcoming animated movie, Demi has a voice role as the main character, Smurfette, while Meghan will lend her voice to a minor character, Smurf Melody. The "All About That Bass" hitmaker will also sing a track called "I'm a Lady" which serves as one of the movie soundtracks.

Previously, Meghan said of the song, "I'm so excited to be singing 'I'm a Lady' for this movie. It's a song that I love and am very proud of, and I can't wait for the world to finally hear it! Getting to play a small part in the film with my character, SmurfMelody, makes this all the more exciting! So happy to be a part of the Smurfs family!!!"

"Smurfs: The Lost Village" will hit U.S. theaters on April 7.
