Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Daviann Mitchell hit the 'Power Rangers Wild Force' vet with six years in state prison for killing his roommate with sword back in January 2015.

AceShowbiz - Ricardo Medina Jr., who is best known as the Red Wild Force Ranger on "Power Rangers Wild Force", has finally been sentenced. The 38-year-old actor has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter after admitting that he killed his roommate, Josh Sutter, with a sword back in January 2015.

On Thursday, March 30, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Daviann Mitchell hit the actor with six years in state prison. The punishment was five years less than what he's supposed to get. Medina was initially charged with first degree murder in the death of his roomate.

"Put this killer in general (prison) population so he will see and feel the same fear that Joshua must have felt," said the victim's father, Donald Sutter. "We also hope that everyone that looks at Ricardo from now on will never see him as a celebrity but as nothing more than a cold-blooded killer."

Medina stabbed his roommate to death two years ago after arguing over Medina's girlfriend. Medina claimed that he acted in self defense after Sutter broke through his bedroom door. He was arrested in 2015 but then released because there wasn't enough evidence to build a criminal case against him.
