The 'High School Musical' star also tries to make up for breaking Paris' heart by inviting the daughter of Michael Jackson to the 'Baywatch' premiere.

AceShowbiz - Paris Jackson finally has a chance to meet her longtime idol, Zac Efron. The "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" actor is expressing his apology after he finds out that he's left the daughter of Michael Jackson heartbroken nearly a decade ago.

"I'm so sorry," the 29-year-old actor told E! News at CinemaCon. "I'll make sure I'm [there] next time if you come to visit." The "17 Again" star then tried to make up for breaking Paris' heart by inviting her to the premiere of his latest film, "Baywatch". "You should come to the 'Baywatch' premiere!" said the "Parkland" actor.

The "Dirty Grandpa" actor's apology came after Paris revealed during her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that she was once depressed when attending "High School Musical Live", which was her first concert experience.

Paris told Jimmy Fallon that she was "so bummed" because she couldn't watch the "High School Musical" star live due to his busy schedule. "They had some guy replace him and that was the most depressing thing about it," said Paris, adding, "I was this heartbroken 10-year-old."

Right after hearing that her favorite idol was offering an apology, Paris took to Twitter to tell her fans that she was just kidding. "y'aaaaaaallll. it was a joke???? i was like a child. pls chill," the 18-year-old actress tweeted.
