The hip-hop singer joins the 'Roar' songstress for a remix of her latest single which debuted at number 4 on Billboard Hot 100, 'Chained to the Rhythm'.

AceShowbiz - Lil Yachty seems quite busy these days. After his collaboration with Mike WiLL Made It on "Hasselhoff", one of the tracks off Mike WiLL's album "Ransom 2", the 19-year-old rapper jumps on Katy Perry's single, "Chained to the Rhythm". He joins the "Dark Horse" hitmaker to make a remix of her new song.

Lil Boat took to his Instagram account on March 21 to announce his latest project, the "Boat Remix" of "Chained to the Rhythm". "Thank You Katy," he wrote in the caption, adding a love emoji. "['Chained to the Rhythm' Remix] Up Now On My Soundcloud."

The remix has slightly slower beat. Yachty raps with his auto-tuned voice, adding the groove in the song. "Chained to the beat now/ Feeling good, got good vibes/ I can feel it in my feet now/ Take a shot, baby, loosen up/ You the star of the scene now/ I went from reading magazines to being on the cover/ Get up in the groove now/ Let me see you move now," Lil Boat raps.

It looks like the remix is a gift from Yachty to his fans who are waiting for his debut album, "Teenage Emotions", which is still on the way. "[It has] kind of got an '80s, '90s vibe on some of the tracks," Yachty said about the upcoming album.

He went on teasing, "It's called 'Teenage Emotions' so it caters to a teenager's everyday lifestyle: heartbreak, happiness, that vibe of when you're waking up in the morning, getting dressed and want to dance. It's not just bars of straight mumble rap, it goes down different lanes. I be rapping real hard on this one, I be pop singing on this, and I be talking about being lost in love on this one, then back to 'f**k you, suck my d**k!"
