AceShowbiz - Jason Derulo teamed up with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign on his single, "Swalla", which was released last February. And the music video is finally here! The video was released on Friday, March 17, and it looks (literally) sweet.
In the video, Jason is being a little bit naughty. He is singing and dancing with sexy girls and posing seductively with them. "Love in a thousand different flavors/ I wish that I could taste them all tonight/ No, I ain't got no dinner plans/ So you should bring all your friends/ I swear that to a-all y'all my type," he sings in the opening.
The "Talk Dirty" singer has apparent sweet tooth in the video. It looks like he wants to say that love is like candy, it has "a thousand different flavors" through the colorful video. The featured artist, Nicki Minaj, is wearing futuristic skimpy outfit while rapping.
A part of Nicki's verse in "Swalla" is reportedly a diss on Remy Ma. "I gave these b***hes two years, now your time's up/ Bless her heart, she throwing shots but every line sucks/ I'm in that cherry red foreign with the brown guts/ My s**t slappin' like dude did Lebron nuts," she raps.
Jason claimed that he was a fan of both Nicki and Ty Dolla, and that they would fit the upbeat track, "I never believe in forcing a collaboration. You know, I'm a fan of both of theirs and I thought that they fit the track perfectly. It's one of those ones that'll get you up and doing your thing. I feel like it's gonna stick out on the radio. There's nothing that sounds like it," he said about the collaboration in an interview with Billboard.
On the heels of the release of the song last month, Jason took to his Instagram account to reveal the cover art for "Swalla".
