AceShowbiz - Danny DeVito may reunite with Tim Burton in "Dumbo". The actor is in talks to join the Disney live-action movie to play Medici. Medici is a ringmaster who runs a small circus which is eventually acquired by villain Vandemere.

Recent report said that Eva Green, who teamed up with Burton in "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" and "Dark Shadows", would also reunite with the director to play a lead female character in "Dumbo". Green may play a trapeze artist who works for Vandemere in the movie.

Like Green, DeVito has teamed up with Burton before. The actor portrayed Penguin in 1992's "Batman Returns" which was directed by Burton. Currently, DeVito is making his Broadway debut "The Price" along with Mark Ruffalo and Tony Shalhoub. He can also be seen on FX comedy "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". DeVito's upcoming movies include "Twins" sequel "Triplets" and animated movie "Animal Crackers".

Disney's other upcoming projects include "Beauty and the Beast (2017)" which will be released on March 17, "The Lion King", "Peter Pan", "Maleficent 2", "The Little Mermaid (2019)", "Mulan", "Snow White" and "Cruella", a pic centering on Cruella de Vil from "101 Dalmatians".
