Lind is joining Stephen Moyer and Jamie Chung on the potential FOX's 'X-Men' series helmed by Bryan Singer.

AceShowbiz - Rounding out the cast, FOX's "X-Men"-related pilot has tapped "Gotham" actress Natalie Alyn Lind to play a key role. Lind reportedly will play Stephen Moyer's on-screen child who is presumably a mutant, named Lauren.

Lauren is described as "smart, pretty, popular, organized and already ahead on her college application." Basically, Lauren is the model of a perfect kid.

Lind's TV credits include FOX's "Gotham" as Silver St. Cloud and ABC's "The Goldbergs" as Dana Caldwell. She also guest stars on NBC's "Chicago Fire" and the upcoming third season of The CW's "iZombie".

The actress joins the previously-announced cast, including Moyer, Jamie Chung, Blair Redford and Sean Teale. Moyer will play Lind's on-screen father, Reed, an ambitious attorney who struggles to balance his work and family life. Chung reportedly will portray Blink, a mutant known as Clarice Fong, who possesses the ability to teleport almost everywhere and focus her abilities into spear-like forms.

Meanwhile, Redford and Teale will take the role of Sam and Marcos Diaz respectively. Sam is a strong-headed Native American leader of the underground network, while Marcos Diaz, whose alter ego is Eclipse, is a newly created mutant whose ability is to absorb and manipulate photons.

The pilot will follow ordinary parents who discover that their children possess mutant powers. They are later forced to go on the run from hostile government and join an underground network of mutant fugitives led by Sam to fight to survive.

The pilot hails from director Bryan Singer ("X-Men" (2000), "X-Men 2", "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "X-Men: Apocalypse") and writer Matt Nix. Nix and Singer will serve as executive producers of the potential new series alongside Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.
