The network has pulled its legal drama, which stars Katherine Heigl and Laverne Cox, and will replace it with 'Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders' season two.

AceShowbiz - CBS is done with "Doubt". The network has decided to pull its legal drama after airing just two out of thirteen episodes. And now it's unclear when or if the remaining eleven episodes of the series will return.

The drama, starring Katherine Heigl and Laverne Cox, debuted last week to 5.31 million viewers and 0.8 in the 18-49 demo. The series dropped further to 4.03 million viewers and 0.6 in the 18-49 demo in the second week.

"Doubt" timeslot, Wednesday at 10 P.M., will be taken over by a rebroadcast of "Bull". "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" will take over the timeslot on March 8, debuting its second season following the two-hour spring premiere of "Survivor".

The legal drama follows Saddie Ellis, a brilliant lawyer who falls for her client (Steven Pasquale), a man who may or may not have been guilty of murdering his girlfriend 24 years ago. "Doubt" also stars Dule Hill, Dreama Walker, Elliott Gould and Kobi Libii.

Despite its short run, "Doubt" made headlines for being one of the first shows to feature a regular transgender character played by a transgender actress, Cox. The series also marked Heigl's return to primetime after her NBC series "State of Affairs" was canceled after one season.
