AceShowbiz - Jason Derulo returns with a new star-studded song "Swalla" featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. Produced by Ricky Reed, the track features bouncy Caribbean-flavored beats with lots of hand clapping and electronic elements.

Derulo handles the opening verse where he imagines himself at the club and sees a bunch of ladies. He sings, "Love in a thousand different flavors/ I wish that I could taste them all tonight/ No, I ain't got no dinner plans/ So you should bring all your friends," before passing things over Ty, who tackles the second verse.

Minaj, meanwhile, steals the show with her verse where she takes shot at a certain female rapper who tries to diss her. She spits, "I gave these b***hes two years, now your time's up/ Bless her heart, she throwing shots but every line sucks/ I'm in that cherry red foreign with the brown guts."

Earlier this month on the Grammys red carpet, Derulo gushed about "Swalla" as he said that Nicki and Ty were the perfect fit for the song. "I never believe in forcing a collaboration. You know, I'm a fan of both of theirs and I thought that they fit the track perfectly," he said. "It's one of those ones that'll get you up and doing your thing. I feel like it's gonna stick out on the radio. There's nothing that sounds like it." He added that a video for "Swalla" had already been shot and would be released soon. "You know we're from the islands. So, we really took it there and it's definitely a must-see. As soon as the video comes out, make sure you're clicking," he said.
