The 32-year-old Georgia native recently released his long-awaited fourth album 'The Devil Don't Sleep', which features 16 new tracks including 'The Weekend'.

AceShowbiz - Brantley Gilbert shot to fame after penning a few of Jason Aldean's hits, including "Dirt Road Anthem" and "My Kinda Party". And now, the 32-year-old country singer makes his own path to become one of the most successful country music superstars.

Releasing his debut album "Modern Day Prodigal Son" back in 2009, Gilbert started to garner a lot of attention from country music fans. The set features 13 songs in total and debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Gilbert followed it up by releasing his sophomore effort "Halfway to Heaven" on March 16, 2010. The LP features 12 songs "that range from heavy to heartfelt and act as a showcase of diversity for the young singer/songwriter." Produced by Gilbert along with Atom Brothers, Jonathan Waggoner and more, the album peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 2 on the Billboard's Top Country Albums.

In addition to focusing on his musical career, Gilbert showed off his loyalty to his country as in 2013, he embarked on his first USO tour to entertain American troops in Italy and Kuwait. "These guys and gals spend nine months to a year away from their families and that just... blows me away," he said. "It's a huge sacrifice, putting your neck out there like that and being willing to go somewhere you're not familiar with to do a job. That is definitely something to be respected."

Gilbert released a follow-up to "Halfway to Heaven" on May 19, 2014. Titled "Just as I Am", the new set features 11 tracks in total, including its first single "Bottoms Up". The song received generally positive reviews from music critics and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard's Country Digital Songs. It was certified platinum by the RIAA in June 2014, becoming the first million-selling song for Gilbert.

Three years since the release of his third studio album, the Georgia native released his long-awaited fourth album "The Devil Don't Sleep" on January 27. The album's title is taken from one of the tracks on the album since it has a personal reminder for him. " 'The Devil Don't Sleep' is all about knowing that devil is always there, and there's always temptation," he explained to the Boot.

The album's first single "The Weekend" was released in July 2016. Speaking to iHeartRadio, Gilbert revealed that the song is a mix between "Bottoms Up" and "Kickin' in the Sticks". Besides "The Weekend", "The Devil Don't Sleep" features 15 new tracks, including "It's About to Get Dirt" and "Tried to Tell Ya". The new set debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums and No. 2 behind Migos' "Culture" on Billboard 200 chart.

To support the new record, the hard-rock-influenced country artist is planning to hit the road on "Devil Don't Sleep" tour. The extensive tour kicked off on February 2 in Reading, Pennsylvania and wraps up in Duluth, Minnesota on April 29. Tucker Beathard and Luke Combs will join Gilbert on the road.
