The Amazon TV star is reportedly in talks to portray a key CGI character in the upcoming 'Star Wars' spin-off.

AceShowbiz - As filming is currently underway, the untitled stand-alone Star Wars film II is eyeing another star to be added to its cast. A new report suggests that Amazon's "Fleabag" star Phoebe Waller-Bridge is in talks for a key CGI role.

Variety reported that the role would be a CGI-driven performance, but still hold a significant part in the upcoming Disney-Lucasfilm pic. It would be similar to other key characters such as Chewbacca, C-P30 and Alan Tudyk's K-2SO in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story".

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has her breakthrough with her role on "Fleabag", which is written by Waller-Bridge herself. The Amazon original series earned her a Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. The English actress also starred on "Crashing" and "Broadchurch" and had a role in Meryl Streep-led "The Iron Lady".

The upcoming Han Solo movie is set prior to 1977's "Star Wars: A New Hope", during the early scoundrel days of Solo and Lando Calrissian. No official plot has been released, but it has been reported that the story may revolve around how Han Solo becomes a smuggler.

Alden Ehrenreich portrays young Han Solo, while Donald Glover is cast as the young version of Lando Calrissian. Also cast in the movie are Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke, although their roles are still unknown. Phil Lord and Chris Miller work together to helm the pic, while Kathleen Kennedy produces alongside Allison Shearmur.
