Jackie Chan's Master Wu assembles a secret ninja force whose members are ready to risk their lives in the first teaser trailer of 'The Lego Ninjago Movie'.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. has released a teaser of the first trailer for "The Lego Ninjago Movie" along with new official photos, featuring the main characters and the villain. The 25-second video features all of the Ninjago members assembling before Master Wu who is voiced by Jackie Chan.

Master Wu says, "I've taken a solemn oath to form the secret ninja force." He continues, "Are you ready to risk your life for Ninjago?" Everyone answers in the affirmative, except for Jay (Kumail Nanjiani) who seems hesitant. He reluctantly replies, "Ah..maybe." Hilariously, the teaser ends with Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood".

Meanwhile, one of the newly-released photos features the evil warlord Garmadon, voiced by Justin Theroux. Another photo features the Ninjago crew members, including Kai (Michael Pena), Nya (Abbi Jacobson), Jay, Lloyd (Dave Franco), Zane (Zach Woods) and Cole (Fred Armisen). It also offers a close-up look at Master Wu practicing with a fierce expression.

"The Lego Ninjago Movie" centers on young Lloyd, a.k.a. the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret warriors and LEGO Master Builders. Led by kung fu master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon, the Worst Guy Ever, who also happens to be Lloyd's dad. Pitting mech against mech and father against son, the epic showdown will test this fierce but undisciplined team of modern-day ninjas who must learn to check their egos and pull together to unleash their true power.

The film marks Charlie Bean's directorial debut. Hilary Winston, Bob Logan and Paul Fisher write the script, with Dan Lin, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Roy Lee producing the movie. "The Lego Ninjago Movie" is slated to be released in U.S. theaters on September 22. Meanwhile, the full trailer will be released on Wednesday, February 8.
