AceShowbiz - Steve Harvey returns as the host of the 2016 Miss Universe even after wrongly announcing the winner of last year's edition of international beauty pageant. The funnyman's back onstage at the pageant that took place in the Philippines on Sunday, January 29, and he reminded everyone about his infamous flub.

Following his introduction, Harvey went on bringing up the major slip-up, where he mistakenly announced and crowned Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner instead of Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. "I know what you're thinking, 'Is that the guy from last year? Did they bring back the guy from last year?' Well, they did. It's me," he said.

"[It's] been a long year here getting too 'cause boy, I paid the price for last year. But one thing I learned in life, when you make a mistake you just have to keep moving forward, man," he continued. "That's all. You just gotta get up and up again." The 59-year-old comedian also joked he underwent eye surgery to help him read the cue card right and announce the real winner.

While Harvey is hosting onstage, model Ashley Graham is serving as the backstage host. This year's judges are three former Miss Universe titleholders, Dayanara Torres, Sushmita Sen and Leila Lopez. Joining the panel are Mickey Boarman, Francine LeFrak and Cynthia Bailey that will score and determine who will be Wurtzbach's successor.
