AceShowbiz - Even though "Girl Meets World" was canceled by Disney Channel, Sabrina Carpenter didn't want to let her fans down as she shared a brand new song cover. On Monday, January 23, the 17-year-old singer treated her 10 million Instagram followers to a 45-second acoustic mash-up of Ed Sheeran's new song "Shape of You" and TLC's classic jam "No Scrubs".
"Shape of you/ No scrubs #musicmonday," so Sabrina captioned the clip. Donning a grey casual T-shirt, the "Girl Meets World" star effortlessly blends the songs and opts for simple piano chords in favor of showing her angelic vocals.
On the same day, Sabrina also released a recap video of her "Evolution" tour, which features her onstage and backstage moments. She can be seen talking directly to her fans and singing along with them. "Here is a look back at some great moments on last year's Evolution Tour," she wrote in the note section.
Sabrina has covered some smash hits, including Adele's "Hello", Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud", Sam Smith's "I'm Not the Only One" and Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off", which can be watched on her YouTube channel. She released her first album "Eyes Wide Open" in 2015. It debuted at No. 43 on the Billboard 200 chart.
