Caitlin Snow's late husband, who was killed by Zoom in the second season, is coming back to the third season of the series.

AceShowbiz - Robbie Amell is returning to "The Flash". He will reprise his role as Ronnie Raymond in a winter episode of the third season. However, further details about how Raymond will return remain unclear. Entertainment Weekly was the first to report the news.
Ronnie Raymond is the husband of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker). He's a former structural engineer for the S.T.A.R. Labs who was initially presumed dead in a catastrophic accident. He was then transformed into one half of the transmuted and conjoint metahuman called Firestorm.
Raymond previously appeared in season 2 in an episode titled "Welcome to Earth-2". Viewers got to see Raymond's Earth-2 doppelganger who was a villain named Deathstorm. But the character was killed by Zoom (Teddy Sears).
Raymond's return will make things more interesting, not only on "The Flash" but also on "DC's Legends of Tomorrow", as Martin Stein (Victor Garber) is now teaming up with Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh) to form Firestorm. And based on the comics, there's a third person in the Firestorm matrix who will join Raymond and Jason Rusch (Luc Roderiqoe) to become the hero.
"The Flash" returns on Tuesday, January 24 at 8 P.M. ET on The CW.
