AceShowbiz - "Bad Moms" is getting a Christmas-themed sequel with Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn returning. STX Entertainment has announced that the sequel to the summer comedy hit will be released in U.S. theaters next year on November 3.

"This is a brand that has enormous goodwill all over the world, so expanding and extending the 'Bad Moms' franchise in an authentic and irreverent way has been a priority for our team. [Jon Lucas and Scott Moore] have a truly hysterical story that was pure perfection," says Adam Fogelson, Chairman of the STX Entertainment Motion Picture Group.

"Mila, Kristen and Kathryn are excited to re-team, and we will move forward with 'A Bad Moms Christmas' on a similar time table and in much the same way in which we produced the original," he adds.

Bell took to Twitter on Friday, December 23 to share with her followers a video announcing the good news. "Get ready. It's about to get festive as a mother. A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS coming for ya winter 2017!" the Kiki depicter wrote.

Original writers/directors Jon and Scott are once again writing and directing the movie. It will follow the trio, Amy, Kiki and Carla, who are coping with the stresses of the most wonderful time of year as their own mothers visit for the holidays.

The original "Bad Moms" was released on July 29. The box-office sleeper comedy raked in $180 million worldwide on its budget of $20 million.
