AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom may have ulterior motives behind his latest rehab stint. According to people close to the former NBA star, he is trying to win his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian back after a judge finalized their divorce.
"Lamar's going for it all! By checking himself into rehab, he's attempting to get his life together and he's trying to show Khloe that he's serious about her and a possible future together," an insider tells HollywoodLife.com, "For years, Khloe has wanted him to check into rehab and with their divorce just days away from being finalized, he's hoping that she sees his valiant efforts to take his life much more seriously and consider being his friend first, and who knows what else after."
"No lie, Lamar's been depressed for months over Khloe. He hasn't been that connected with her and seeing her all over the world with Tristan [Thompson] made Lam sick to his stomach," adds the insider.
Another source reveals that Khloe and Lamar could possibly unite once again as she still cares for him. "Khloe can easily get into a tailspin about Lamar so she is really practicing trying not to get overly emotional right now," says the second source, "Lamar is a really soft spot for her because she is torn between feeling betrayed and angry, yet incredibly guilty and worried for him."
Lamar recently checked himself into a rehabilitation center in San Diego, California. "It was his own decision. He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life," a source told E! News, "He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety."
