Daniel Craig May Return as James Bond
Movie

Rumor has it, the 'Spectre' actor could be convinced to sign up for another 007 movie.

AceShowbiz - Daniel Craig may finally be back to play James Bond. Rumor has it, Daniel's latest theater production, "Othello", at New York Theatre Workshop could be the ticket that finally convinces the actor to sign up for another 007 film.

The credits of "Othello" shows that producer Barbara Broccoli, who brought in Daniel in 2006 for the string of hits "Casino Royale", "Quantum of Solace", "Skyfall" and "Spectre", also serves as producer for the play. After Daniel was cast in "Othello" in October, he said he "would miss [Bond] terribly."

A source tells Page Six of "Othello" and Bond, "Daniel thinks of himself as a 'serious actor,' and he wants to stretch his artistic muscles. And Barbara really believes in his talent. For her to do this [play] for him is a gift - of course she wants him back - this is going to entice him to make another Bond movie." The insider says Barbara would ask Daniel back for the upcoming "Bond 25".

Other sources add that Daniel is amenable to a return to the "Bond" film franchise after a hiatus of a few years when he'll tackle "more serious roles."

While Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, Michael Fassbender and Jack Huston were previously rumored to replace Daniel as James Bond, a source claims that "all those people are not in the running."

According to the source, making "Othello" has been a shrewd business decision for Barbara. "It's a limited run," says the source, "She's not doing this to lose money."
