In response to pictures showing the songbird accidentally flashing her nipple during a beach trip, Morgan said that she staged the whole thing to promote her upcoming E! docu-series.

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey didn't only show off her bikini body and her new relationship when she and her dancer Bryan Tanaka hit the beach in Hawaii earlier this week. The self-declared elusive chanteuse also accidentally flashed her nipple while she was frolicking in the water in a black swimsuit with plunging neckline and daring cut-outs on both sides.
Mimi, who went into full diva mode by wearing a pearl necklace, diamond bracelets, earrings and black shades during the outing, appeared to have so much fun with her new boy toy. The "We Belong Together" songbird was seen laughing as Tanaka planted a kiss on her lips, carried her in his arms and gave her a piggyback ride.
But she ended up suffering the embarrassing nip-slip after spending some time splashing around in the water. She didn't seem to be bothered by the incident, though. With a big smile on her face, she fixed her bikini top and continued to soak up the sun with her 33-year-old beau.
But just because Carey didn't make a big deal out of the nip-slip, it didn't mean no one would. After photos of the singer and Tanaka on the beach surfaced online, Piers Morgan expressed his displeasure in an article published on Thursday, December 1 by Daily Mail.
The British journalist claimed that Carey staged the whole thing, including the nip-slip, to promote her E! docu-series "Mariah's World", which is premiering this weekend. "This was on a whole new level of cringe," he commented on the images. "Mariah and back-up dancer Bryan - who at 33 is 13 years her junior -cavorted in skimpy swimsuits like a pair of love-struck teens. Each image struck a new mind-boggling low of excruciation."
"Mariah jumping on his back, sliding under his legs, being carried through the waves... and generally pawing her young lover like an over-excited Labrador in heat," he continued. "At one stage, Mariah even suffered an 'accidental' nip-slip wardrobe malfunction. [It was] an act of utter desperation by a once very classy chanteuse who is now rapidly morphing into Norma Desmond, the fading star of Sunset Boulevard."
