John Legend, Green Day, DJ Khaled were among other performers for the Sunday night, November 20 ceremony at the Microsoft Theater.

AceShowbiz - Maroon 5 and Ariana Grande were among the killer performers at the 2016 American Music Awards. The former rocked the stage as they performed "Don't Wanna Know", the band's latest single featuring Kendrick Lamar.

Adam Levine took center stage along with his band mates. It was the first time that they performed the song on stage. The three-time AMA winner closed out the show with large glow stick passed out across the audience. Lamar looked excited while bouncing around alongside the band.

Ariana Grande performed her latest single "Side to Side", which is a duet with Nicki Minaj. Donning denim outfit, Grande was seen dancing along with half-naked male dancers. Minaj, meanwhile, was seen sitting on rattan chair while rapping her verse.

The "Starships" raptress took the AMAs stage again to perform the song "Do You Mind" with DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Future and August Alsina. The song is part of Khaled's latest album "Major Key".

John Legend delivered another stunning performance with his heartwarming single "Love Me Now". Sporting an all-white ensemble and shimmery jacket, the singer performed the song while moving pictures about minority and LGBT couples played on the screen.

Another performer Green Day slammed president-elect Donald Trump during a performance of their latest hit "Bang Bang". The track appears as the lead single off the band's recently released "Revolution Radio".

The 2016 AMAs aired live on ABC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The annual show was hosted by Gigi Hadid and "Saturday Night Live" alum Jay Pharoah. Bruno Mars kicked off the show with his smash hit "24K Magic". Other acts performing during the event included Lady GaGa who tackled "Million Reasons", Justin Bieber who joined the show via satellite while performing "Let Me Love You", Shawn Mendes who went onstage for "Mercy" and "Treat You Better", and Award of Merit recipient Sting who performed a medley of hits.
