AceShowbiz - Chance the Rapper is now Chance the Actor. The 23-year-old hip-hop artist has a "werewolf role" in A24's feature film titled "Slice". It's written and directed by Austin Vesely, who also helmed the music videos for the rapper's "Sunday Candy" and "Angels".

According to THR, the secret project was quietly filmed over the summer in Chicago. Though details about the movie and Chance's role are still scarce, it is said to take place in a mysterious city and center around an enigmatic outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys.

Austin revealed to Redeye Chicago last year that Chance has a supernatural role as someone called Dax Lycander. "He is actually a werewolf who is a former Chinese food delivery driver," he explained. "Basically, these murders start happening and they hearken back to an incident that happened with him years before, and they arouse the town's suspicions."

The helmer shared on Instagram on Monday, October 31 the first teaser trailer for the movie, which will arrive in U.S. theaters sometime in 2017. Chance also took to Twitter to share the short teaser along with the caption which read, "Slice. Starring Me the Actor. In theatres 2017."
