AceShowbiz - Focus Features has released a new trailer for "The Take (2016)", formerly known as "Bastille Day", for fans' viewing pleasure. It features Idris Elba as CIA agent Sean Briar who teams up with expert pickpocket Michael Mason (Richard Madden) in an attempt to take on terrorists on Bastille Day in Paris.

"This is not lookin' good for you," Briar tells Mason while showing a picture of the latter on the bombing scene. "I'm a pickpocket," Mason defends himself. "I stole the bag, but I didn't know that there was a bomb in it." Briar asks him, "You wanna clear your name?" making a deal before the two embark on the anti-terrorist mission.

Directed by "The Woman in Black" helmer James Watkins from a script he co-wrote with Andrew Baldwin, "The Take" follows Michael Mason, a young American conman who steals a handbag containing a teddy bear on the eve of Bastille Day in Paris. After disposing of the teddy bear, it explodes, killing four people. The French police tags Mason as a terrorist suspect and pursues him.

Unknown to Mason, the explosion was actually set up by a select group in the French Interior Ministry as a decoy to make a half-billion dollar digital transfer from a bank. While involved in a separate clandestine investigation in Paris, CIA case officer Sean Briar discovers the truth behind the terrorist attack. The two men, on different sides of the law, collaborate to find the group responsible for the attack.

Also starring Charlotte Le Bon, Kelly Reilly, Jose Garcia, Anatol Yusef and Eriq Ebouaney, the action film is coming to U.S. theaters on November 18.
