Following rumors that she's pregnant with Pitt's baby, the French actress says in a statement posted on Instagam that she's expecting a child with her 'love' and 'best friend' Guillaume Canet.

AceShowbiz - Marion Cotillard has confirmed that she's indeed pregnant with her second child. The French actress revealed the happy news while reacting to persistent rumors claiming that her "Allied" co-star Brad Pitt was the baby's father and that she's the cause of his split from Angelina Jolie.
"This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into," she wrote in the caption of a stunning image she posted on Instagram Wednesday, September 21. "I am not used to commenting on things like this nor taking them seriously but as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up."
"Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need," Cotillard continued, referring to her longtime boyfriend Guillaume Canet. The pair have been dating since 2007 and are already parents to 5-year-old Marcel.
"Secondly to those who have indicated that I am devastated, I am very well thank you. This crafted conversation isn't distressing," she said. "And to all the media and the haters who are quick to pass judgment, I sincerely wish you a swift recovery."
She concluded the post by wishing Pitt and Jolie nothing but "peace." "Finally, I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment," she added. "With all my love. Marion."
After Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt earlier this week, multiple rumors emerged suggesting that his affair with Cotillard was the reason behind the split. A source told Page Six that the "Maleficent" actress even hired a "private eye" who allegedly saw the two "fooling around" and "cozying up" to each other on the set of their film "Allied".
