Marion Cotillard 'Absolutely Devastated' by Allegations She Caused Brangelina Divorce

A source close to the French actress' family denies that she has an affair with her 'Allied' co-star Brad Pitt and notes that she's in a happy relationship with her longtime boyfriend Guillaume Canet.

AceShowbiz - Marion Cotillard isn't happy that people are accusing her of having an affair with her "Allied" co-star Brad Pitt. The French actress is reportedly "absolutely devastated" by all claims suggesting that she is the one causing the actor's split from his wife Angelina Jolie.

Speaking to Daily Mail, a source close to Cotillard's family notes that she's been in a happy relationship with boyfriend Guillaume Canet. "These kind of claims are not what Marion wants to be hearing," the source says. "Claims that she's cheating on Guillaume with Brad will leave her absolutely devastated. This doesn't sound like her at all."

Cotillard, a mom to 5-year-old Marcel whom she shares with her beau, is particularly upset because she really wants a "quieter life." The source explained, "She enjoys her family time and wants to enjoy more of it. All this fuss will be a huge shock to her."

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on Monday, September 19. She reportedly decided to split from her husband of two years because of his parenting style, which she considered dangerous for their kids.

Multiple sources could confirm that their breakup had nothing to do with another woman, but some news outlet still published several stories claiming that Pitt cheated on Jolie with Cotillard. A source told Page Six that Jolie even hired a "private eye" who allegedly saw Pitt and Cotillard "fooling around" and "cozying up" to each other on the set of their film "Allied".
