AceShowbiz - "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will likely be one of next summer's biggest hits. The lead star, Chris Pratt, says that the follow-up to "Guardians of the Galaxy" is not only going to be a good movie, but also one of the biggest movies "of all time."

Asked to tell Toronto Sun any details about the James Gunn-directed flick while premiering "The Magnificent Seven" at TIFF, the Star-Lord depicter said, "They've instructed us not to say anything." He went on to explain that the film "finished and it's going to be terrific."

"I'm already so proud of it. We worked really hard on it and it's a joy to be part of," he praised the film. "It's a fabulous script. I think it's going to be - I'm not using hyperbole, here - I think it's going to be the biggest spectacle movie of all time."

"It's new and exciting and unlike anything people had seen before. There are a lot of superheroes out there, but I think we do something a little different. The genesis of these characters was in the Marvel Universe but we do something a little different, more cosmic, with 'Guardians of the Galaxy'," Pratt added. "It's exceptional."

While the lead actor praised the film, James Gunn unveiled something very interesting yet a bit sad. In a recent Facebook post, the helmer said that baby Groot, whose voice is still provided by Vin Diesel, would be "complicated." The helmer revealed that the baby-sized tree creature wouldn't have Groot's memory.

The second "Guardians of the Galaxy" film is scheduled for a May 5, 2017 release in U.S. theaters. Set to the backdrop of "Awesome Mixtape #2", "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" continues the team's adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill's true parentage.

Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan and Michael Rooker will reprise their roles as Gamora, Drax, the voice of Rocket, Nebula and Yondu respectively. Pom Klementieff, Kurt Russell, Tommy Flanagan and Sylvester Stallone are also among the cast members.
