AceShowbiz - Moviegoers will be treated to "The Master: A Lego Ninjago Short" when they come to U.S. theaters on September 23 to watch Warner Bros.' "Storks". And now, the first clip offering an early look at Master Wu, whose voice is provided by Jackie Chan, in the special "The Lego Ninjago Movie" short film has arrived for fans' viewing pleasure.

"It's so on," Master Wu says at the beginning of the video obtained by USA TODAY. In the newly-released clip, the Lego hero looks formidable, but he's not strong enough to defeat a chicken. After the temple is destroyed, the kungfu champion is no match to the pesky chicken.

"The Lego Ninjago Movie" follows six young ninjas who are tasked with defending their island home, called Ninjago. By night, they're gifted warriors, using their skills and awesome fleet of vehicles to fight villains and monsters. By day, they're ordinary teens struggling against their greatest enemy, high school.

The voice cast of the upcoming spin-off to the hugely-popular "The Lego Movie" also includes Dave Franco as Lloyd, Michael Pena as Kai, Abbi Jacobson as Nya, Kumail Nanjiani as Jay, Zach Woods as Zane, Fred Armisen as Cole, Justin Theroux as Garmadon and Olivia Munn as Koko.

Directed by Charlie Bean from a screenplay provided by Dan and Kevin Hageman, it is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on September 22, 2017.
