Madison hasn't given up on finding her family, Nick messes up with the wrong people, and Victor and Madison are trapped in a hotel.

AceShowbiz - Separated from her son Nick and her boyfriend Travis, Madison has not given up on finding them. In a preview for the next episode of "Fear the Walking Dead" which has just returned for the second half of its season 2 on August 21, Madison believes they're out there though her daughter Alicia tells her that they're not going to find them.

Nick himself has found a new community, but it's not necessarily a safe place. After being warned by his new friend about some guys with guns, he apparently messes up with them and is beaten up by them.

Madison, Victor, Alicia and Ofelia find a hotel, but soon the place is swarmed by zombies with them trapped inside. "We're not gonna make it," says Ofelia, as Alicia is seen running through a hallway.

"Los Muertos" airs Sunday, August 28 at 9/8c on AMC.

Showrunner Dave Erickson has talked to EW about the Colonia, a community on the outskirts of Tijuana, which Nick landed in in the latest episode. "Luciana is a believer. This is a community that is centered around Alejandro, who was a pharmacist in the old world and in that regard something of a community leader. For many people in the neighborhood, he was their doctor for all intents and purposes. So there is a belief system that's developed around this guy and it's something that Luciana has ascribed to," he says.

"She's definitely badass," Erickson adds of Luciana. "She definitely has great faith in her community and in this leader, Alejandro, and she'll develop something of a relationship with Nick as the next few episodes play out."

"This is one of the most joyful moments on the show, and it's probably going to be the last," Erickson says of the place, adding, "but yeah, for that particular moment it is exactly what Nick was hoping to find, and yes, ultimately nothing ends well in 'Fear' or in 'The Walking Dead'. So it's a taste of joy before the fall."
