'Suicide Squad' Soundtrack Spends Second Week Atop Billboard 200

The all-star album for the DC supervillain flick is the first soundtrack to spend more than a week at No. 1 since 2014's 'Guardians of the Galaxy'.

AceShowbiz - "Suicide Squad: The Album" remains steady at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. The all-star album for the DC supervillain flick has 93,000 total copies sold this week, including 50,000 in traditional album sales, according to Nielsen Music.

"Suicide Squad" soundtrack becomes the first soundtrack to spend more than a week at No. 1 since "Guardians of the Galaxy" soundtrack. There are only four theatrical film soundtracks which spent more than a week at No. 1, including "Bad Boys 2" and Frozen (2013)".

At No. 2 on this week's Billboard 200 is Drake's "Views" with 71,000 units. PARTYNEXTDOOR's second studio album, "Partynextdoor 3 (P3)", debuts at No. 3 with 50,000 units, while Justin Moore's "Kinda Don't Care" starts at No. 4 with 42,000 units. Twenty One Pilots's "Blurryface" rises to No. 5 with 41,000 units.

Other titles making up this week's top 10 include DJ Khaled's "Major Key" which climbs up to No. 6 with 34,000 units, Rae Sremmurd's "SremmLife 2" which debuts at No. 7 with 27,000 units, Adele's "25" which rises to No. 8 with 28,000 units, Rihanna's "Anti" which stays at No. 9 with nearly 28,000 units and the "Now 59" compilation which descends to No. 10 with 28,000 units.
