Marvel provides a closer look at the blue-skinned Ravager's upgraded fin which looks more in line with the character's appearance in Marvel's comics.

AceShowbiz - Following the latest image of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" which introduced nine members of the Ravagers, a new image featuring Michael Rooker's Yondu has surfaced online. Marvel took to Instagram to provide a closer look at the Ravagers' leader who previously appeared in full make-up at San Diego Comic-Con.

The image features "everybody's favorite blue-skinned ravager" along with his iconic head-fin. The caption read, "Everybody's favorite blue-skinned ravager, @michael_rooker, asked us if it was cheating that this was his favorite Marvel character for the #MarvelPhotoChallenge. What do YOU think?!" His upgraded fin looks more in line with his look in Marvel's comics. He sported a flat mohawk in James Gunn's first "Guardians of the Galaxy".

Rooker stars in the upcoming flick along with Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper who are set to reprise their respective roles from the first installment of the film. Other cast members include Pom Klementieff, Kurt Russell, Tommy Flanagan and Sylvester Stallone.

The film is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on May 5, 2017. Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" continues the team's adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill's true parentage.
