The 43-year-old actor stars as Christian Wolff, a math savant who works as a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new trailer for "The Accountant" starring Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick. The new footage shows a lot of intense and chilling actions done by Affleck's Christian. Several scenes offer glimpses at Christian being in danger and firing gun at someone.

The video features J.K. Simmons's Ray King showing his partner some pictures of Christian. King says in voiceover, "It was taken three years ago by an undercover agent." He continues, "This guy has risked his life on cooking the books of some of the scariest people on the planet - drug cartels, army broker, money launders, assassins."

"The Accountant" centers on Christian Wolff, a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations.

With the Treasury Department's Crime Enforcement Division starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client, a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.

Also starring Jon Bernthal, John Lithgow, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Fernando Chien, Ron Prather and Alex Collins, the film hits U.S. theaters on October 14.
