The veteran rocker has been treated in the emergency room at Coney Island Hospital after he fell ill during a performance with the band and collapsed backstage.

AceShowbiz - Aerosmith's lead guitarist Joe Perry was forced to leave the stage during a performance with Hollywood Vampires on Sunday night, July 10. The veteran rocker fell ill during the concert at the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk and collapsed about thirty seconds into the show.

According to fans, Perry looked "noticeably ill" that night. In a video taken at the gig, he was sitting on the drum riser while playing guitar, before walking off the stage. He apparently lost consciousness and collapsed backstage, and EMTs on site revived him.

He was immediately transported to Coney Island Hospital at around 9:30 P.M. ET and was later transferred to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for an unspecified reason. The NYPD told ABC News that Perry was listed in stable condition at Coney Island Hospital.

Hollywood Vampires continued performing after Perry collapsed backstage. "If you notice one of our brothers is not onstage with us, he was very sick before show," Alice Cooper, the lead singer of the supergroup Hollywood Vampires, said to address Perry's absence. He also asked the audience to chant "Get well, Joe."

After the concert, Cooper took to Twitter to inform fans that Perry "is stable right now, with family & is under the best care." A rep for the band also told Rolling Stone, "Joe Perry is stable and resting. His brother Vampires and fans wish him a speedy recovery."

Hollywood Vampires also includes actor Johnny Depp.
