The sequel to 2012's 'Wreck-It Ralph' will have John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman back voicing the main characters.

AceShowbiz - Disney officially has just confirmed a sequel to 2012's animated hit "Ralph Breaks the Internet". The Mouse House broke the news on Facebook Live, announcing that the second installment is scheduled to make its way out across the country on March 9, 2018.

"Ralph Breaks the Internet" will open one week after an untitled Fox/Marvel film and one week before WB's "The Flash". The animation occupies the slot originally intended for "Gigantic" as the Jack and the Beanstalk-inspired movie is pushed back to November 21, 2018.

Rich Moore who helmed the original movie is back to direct the sequel along with Phil Johnston who co-wrote the script of the first film. It's their latest collaboration after "Zootopia". Clark Spencer from the animated buddy cop comedy will serve as a producer.

John C. Reilly will return to voice the eponymous arcade game villain while Sarah Silverman is expected to be back as his pint-sized sidekick Vanellope. The synopsis is still kept under wraps but its first still seems to hint at internet setting.
