AceShowbiz - Two actors are joining the growing cast of Marvel's "Spider-Man: Homecoming". Logan Marshall-Green, who starred in "Prometheus" as Charlie Holloway, and Martin Starr, who played Bertram Gilfoyle on "Silicon Valley", have landed roles in the upcoming remake of "Spider-Man".

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Marshall-Green is in talks to play an evildoer alongside the main villain, Michael Keaton's The Vulture. As for Starr, Deadline was the first to report his involvement, but his role is currently unspecified.

The cast keeps growing as the filming is set to begin later this month. Donald Glover was recently added to the cast, joining Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei and more. Holland, Tomei and Downey Jr. will reprise their roles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, May Parker and Tony Stark/Iron Man respectively. Holland and Tomei made their debut as the characters in "Captain America: Civil War".

"Homecoming" will be directed by Jon Watts from a screenplay by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein. The film will follow Parker/Spider-Man in his high school time as he is trying to find out who he is and where he belongs in this world.

The film is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2017 in U.S. theaters.
