Exec producer Greg Nicotero hints that season 7 is filming out of order, and The Spoiling Dead Fans reveal AMC has threatened them with a lawsuit if they share predictions of the Lucille Victim.

AceShowbiz - You may not hear anything about whom Negan killed in the sixth season finale until "The Walking Dead" debuts its seventh season. Turns out the show has taken some actions to prevent fans from getting spoiled on the aftermath of the season 6 finale cliffhanger, in which Negan swung his bat called Lucille at one of the beloved protagonists' heads.

The Spoiling Dead Fans, who are known for posting spoilers about the hit AMC series, reveal that AMC has fired off a cease and desist letter banning them from sharing predictions about how the season 6 finale plays out. The network threatens them with a lawsuit if they make any type of prediction about the Lucille Victim.

"Their stance is that making such a prediction would be considered copyright infringement," the group wrote on its Facebook page Sunday, June 12. "AMC tells us that we made some claim somewhere that says we received 'copyright protected, trade secret information about the most critical plot information in the unreleased next season of The Walking Dead' and that we announced we were going to disclose this protected information. We still aren't sure where we supposedly made this claim because they did not identify where it was."

"The truth is, we have become victims of our own success. We hold a track record for accuracy and now AMC perceives us as a threat," they added.

Additionally, executive producer Greg Nicotero has hinted that season 7 is filming out of order. Fans were worried when they found out that Steven Yeun, whose character Glenn dies in the comics, was shooting Netflix's movie "Okja". However, Nicotero noted in an interview with IGN that the season's schedule didn't "necessarily mean that we're shooting in order" of the episodes.

In other news, star Norman Reedus has teased the shift of power in upcoming season 7. He told Deadline, "We have big bad guy and that opens up our world quite a bit and changes everything. I mean, you see a shift of power completely on our show. And you see a lot of people who've gone through a whole lot, having to bite their tongue for a minute and deal with this new world and this new villain. If you know the comic books, it opens up even larger than that."
