'Game of Thrones' 6.08 Preview Teases Violence and Another Reunion
TV

Cersei finally uses violence to deal with priests of the Seven, while Brienne reunites with Jaime in an unpleasant situation.

AceShowbiz - After another surprise return, a highly-anticipated appearance of Ian McShane and a cliffhanger about Arya's fate in the latest episode, "Game of Thrones" will feature another reunion in the next episode. Brienne will finally meet Jaime again, but this time they will potentially square off.

In a preview for the upcoming outing, Brienne arrives at Riverrun to deliver a message from Sansa to Brynden "Blackfish" Tully. She then talks to Jaime who is going to retake Riverrun. Now that Brienne has pledged her loyalty to Sansa, she will likely have to fight against Jaime whom she grew fond of during their previous journey together.

In Westeros, Cersei finally uses violence to deal with priests of the Seven and it won't end well for the priests with the Mountain guarding Cersei. Back to Riverrun, someone is seen strangling Podrick from behind. Elsewhere, Tyrion feels the presence of someone or something, possibly Dany who returns with her dragon.

[SPOILER ALERT!] There's also a glimpse of the Hound, who just returned in episode 7 "The Broken Man", attacking someone. Meanwhile, Arya who was stabbed in the stomach several times is still alive and the Waif is chasing her.

"No One" airs Sunday, June 12 at 9/8c on HBO. The official synopsis is yet to be released.

The latest episode marked Ian McShane's debut in his secret role. The veteran actor played Brother Ray who took care of the Hound after he was last season in season 4. He was severely injured during a fight with Brienne and was left for dead by Arya. McShane, however, was billed for a brief appearance since his character was killed by a band of attackers in the same episode.

Speaking of how his character might influence the Hound after Brother Ray told him that it's never too late to change, McShane tells EW, "I don't know what happens in the next episodes. But if they're following the Western code, he'll seek to avenge me, then continue his life in a different way. You have to have revenge, and expedient revenge."
