In a clip which airs on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', David Benioff and D. B. Weiss apologize for Sunday's episode, but not for killing Hodor.

AceShowbiz - "Game of Thrones" featured a heartbreaking twist involving Hodor in its latest episode, "The Door", which aired on Sunday, May 22. Showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have now apologized for it, but not because they killed the said character.

"We'd like to apologize for Sunday's episode," Weiss said in a video which aired in the Tuesday episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". "Not for killing Hodor. We've killed a lot of main characters," Benioff continued, as they sat on a couch with stacks of money all over it.

He then began explaining, "We're sorry for all the idiots who from now on will be shouting 'Hodor!' every time you go through a door." The video then switched to show a fan of the show shouting "Hodor!" to a co-worker when he's about to enter an elevator. "We've got how annoying people gonna be," Weiss admitted, "That's our bad."

"So, so sorry. People are the worst," Weiss added, before Benioff said, "We can kill people in real life too." The clip then showed the fan in the elevator having been stabbed in the back by the co-worker who looked annoyed with the fan's over excitement about the show.

Seemingly mocking the show which often pulls a shocking twist, Weiss creepily told Benioff, "We can even kill you." Benioff asked, "Me?" before he's seen falling on the floor with a blade stabbed on his back.
