'Captain America: Civil War' and 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' receive four nods each in the movie category of the 2016 Teen Choice Awards.

AceShowbiz - It's a war between "Captain America: Civil War" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards. The Marvel and DC superhero movies collect four nominations apiece.

Both "Civil War" and "Batman v Superman" are nominated for favorite sci-fi/fantasy movie, favorite sci-fi/fantasy actor and actress. Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson represent "Civil War" while Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Amy Adams represent "Batman v Superman".

Other movies nominated for favorite sci-fi/fantasy include "The Fantastic Four", "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2" and "The Huntsman: Winter's War".

Chris Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are up for favorite actor in sci-fi/fantasy genre. Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, Chloe Moretz and Daisy Ridley, meanwhile, are up for favorite actress in the same genre.

"Deadpool", "In the Heart of the Sea", "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials", "Spectre", "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" and "The Jungle Book" are up for favorite movie in action/adventure genre.

Honoring teens' favorites in movie, music, TV and other pop culture, the 2016 Teen Choice Awards will air on July 31 at 8 P.M. live on FOX. Voting is now open on the TCA website. Host and performers will be announced soon.
