AceShowbiz - CBS is the latest network to unveil its fall 2016-17 schedule and unleash first promos for its new series. The Eye turns its Monday line-up into a comedy block, kicked off by "The Big Bang Theory" at 8 P.M., and followed by new series "Kevin Can Wait" at 8:30 P.M. In October, "Big Bang" will move back to Thursdays and "Kevin Can Wait" will shift to 8 P.M., with Matt LeBlanc's new comedy "Man with a Plan" occupying the 8:30 P.M. slot.
Michael Weatherly is back to CBS on Tuesday nights, starring as Dr. Phil McGrawon new series "Bull" at 9 P.M. It will be sandwiched by returning series "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" and "NCIS: New Orleans" at 8 P.M. and 10 P.M. respectively.
The Wednesday line-up remains intact with "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" likely returning to the 10 P.M. timeslot once "Code Black" ends its new season run in midseason. New comedy "The Great Indoors" and rookie drama "Pure Genius" will join "Big Bang" on Thursdays once "Thursday Night Football" ends.
Another new series, "MacGyver", which is a reimagining of the classic series joins CBS staples "Hawaii Five-0" and "Blue Bloods" on Fridays. "Madam Secretary" is pushed an hour later to Sundays at 9 P.M., replacing the recently ending "The Good Wife". "NCIS: Los Angeles" will take over "Madam Secretary" old slot at 8 P.M.
New series "Doubt" starring Katherine Heigl, "Training Day" starring Bill Paxton as well as returning show "The Amazing Race" and "Undercover Boss" will premiere in midseason.
