Take a look at ABC's new series, including the 'Romeo and Juliet' sequel, Atwell's crime drama, as well as two comedies 'Imaginary Mary' and 'Downward Dog'.

AceShowbiz - Here's your first look at ABC's new series. The Alphabet has revealed teasers of four dramas "Still Star-Crossed", "Conviction", "Time After Time" and "Notorious" as well as two comedies "Imaginary Mary" and "Downward Dog", the same day it announced the series pick-ups.

"Still Star-Crossed" is a period drama from Shondaland which picks up where "Romeo and Juliet" ended. In the wake of the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets has escalated. To bring peace to the kingdom, the young ruling Prince of Verona, Escalus, arranges a marriage between Romeo's cousin, the womanizing Benvolio, with Juliet's cousin, Rosaline, who is in love with Prince Escalus. Wade Briggs and Zuleikha Robinson are among the cast members.

"Conviction" is Hayley Atwell's new series after her "Marvel's Agent Carter" got canceled by the network. She gets provocative in the teaser video as she plays Hayes Morrison, a former First Daughter who is a gorgeous mess, with a brilliant legal mind but a self-destructive streak. Arrested for cocaine possession, she is offered a chance to skip prison time if she is willing to head Conviction Integrity Unit that reexamines cases where there's credible suspicion of wrongful conviction.

"Time After Time" is a fantasy drama centering on H.G. Wells and his friend John Stevenson, who is none other than the infamous Jack the Ripper. Wells invented a time machine and when the police arrive looking for Jack the Ripper, John sneaks into the time machine and flees to modern day Manhattan with Wells in hot pursuit. Joshua Bowman and Freddie Stroma are starring.

"Notorious" revolves around a charismatic attorney and a powerhouse TV producer who attempt to control the media, the justice system and ultimately each other. Living at the intersection of law and media, the series explores the boundaries of professional integrity and how far our national tastemakers will go for ratings, notoriety and the last word. The cast includes Piper Perabo and Daniel Sunjata among others.

"Imaginary Mary" stars "Dharma & Greg" vet Jenna Elfman as an independent career woman who falls in love with a divorced father of three. The dramatic change in her life gets even more interesting when the "slightly unhinged" imaginary childhood friend suddenly resurfaces to guide her through this critical juncture.

"Downward Dog" captures the friendship between a lonely dog, Martin, and the woman he lives with, Nan (Allison Tolman). Martin feels abandoned ever since Nan broke up with her boyfriend, Jason (Lucas Neff), as she now spends way too much time at work trying to impress her boss and co-workers.

In addition to ordering these new series, ABC has ordered a second season of "Dr. Ken".
