This year's 'Time 100' list also includes the likes of Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Taraji P. Henson, Idris Elba, Priyanka Chopra and Mark Rylance among others.

AceShowbiz - Time announces 100 most influential people of 2016. Fresh off his first ever Oscar win, Leonardo DiCaprio is named among the annual "Time 100" list along with Adele, who returned with a bang after her music hiatus, and Lin-Manual Miranda, who just won Grammy and Pulitzer Prize for his Broadway show "Hamilton".

Adele's friend Jennifer Lawrence gushes about the "Hello" crooner, "The way she is able to capture herself, and then in turn us, has turned her into a star that's not a star we look at, but a giant star with its own gravity that we are drawn to. All of this about her lyrics, and I haven't even gotten started on the voice - how could I? It's once-in-a-lifetime."

JLaw, who once also made the list, continues, "All this about her voice and I won't have time to talk about her intelligence. Her 500-year-old wisdom. Her patience and kindness all wrapped up in the tough skin of a damn gangster ... Adele is a gift, an international treasure, but she's also sweet, funny, intelligent and beautiful. B***h."

Another name in this year's list is Nicki Minaj. The female rapper spreads a message of empowerment following the 2016 "Time 100" revelation, "If I'm great at what I do, I can't be denied. Some things may be overlooked but no one can deny my brand, and that's the words of wisdom I would give to other young women."

Others include Ronda Rousey, Charlize Theron, Oscar Isaac, Ariana Grande, Taraji P. Henson, Priyanka Chopra, Mark Rylance, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Idris Elba, Ryan Coogler, Melissa McCarthy, Kendrick Lamar, Karlie Kloss, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Caitlyn Jenner, Pope Francis, and Mark Zuckerberg along with his wife Priscilla Chan.
