The actors were presenting their sci-fi film 'Passengers' to more than 4,000 theater owners in a very casual and goofy way.

AceShowbiz - Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence shared a great chemistry at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday, April 12 evening. Although what they were presenting was not a comedy, the duo managed to make theater owners crowding Caesars Palace's Colosseum burst in laughter.

Pratt started off with a joke that fell flat. "Whoever you called to order popcorn and soda stuff, double up the order right around Christmas, because you're gonna seek a lot of it. That was the joke," he said. The response was mild but the next thing that happened saved his face.

"Ow, you dropped it on my foot," Lawrence told her co-star who accidentally dropped the microphone. The audience broke into a big laughter. "That was the anti-Kanye. I dropped the mic on your foot," Pratt quipped.

Lawrence and Pratt were promoting their sci-fi film "Passengers (2016)" which is set in a future where a group of people are going into space to colonize a new planet. It takes 120 years to get to the planet, and passengers spend the journey hibernating.

They shared a steamy sneak peek from the movie during the presentation. Pratt's mechanic character wakes up from his hibernation pod too early and Lawrence's journalist character's pod also malfunctions a year later. They find themselves alone among dormant travelers and romance was unavoidable. A lot of making out scenes are included before they realize that their fate is doomed.

"Passengers" hits U.S. theaters December 21.
