It has been revealed that Charli XCX will be part of the film as well, voicing a bird named Willow.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato will probably make the birds less angry with her music. On Monday, April 4, the singer took to Twitter to announce that she's going to be contributing an original song to the "Angry Birds" movie, which is hitting theaters next month.

"Excited to announce I'm singing a song for #AngryBirdsMovie! Can't wait for u to hear it and see the movie in May," the former Disney darling tweeted alongside a picture of her surrounded by colorful animated birds.

Details about Lovato's song, including the title or if it would be released as a single, are still unknown. But it will be her first new track since she dropped her latest album, "Confident", in October last year.

Based on the popular app of the same name, the "Angry Birds" movie flies into U.S. theaters on May 20. The voice cast includes the likes of Jason Sudeikis, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Josh Gad, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Peter Dinklage, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key and Blake Shelton.

Charli XCX was the latest cast member confirmed for the film. Over the weekend, producer John Cohen revealed in a tweet that the British singer would voice Willow, a blue bird that wears a beanie.
