AceShowbiz - Nick Jonas' new single is finally out. As promised, the former Disney star dropped "Close" on Thursday night, March 24 as the first preview of his next album, which he announced just hours earlier and is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
A collaboration with Swedish singer/songwriter Tove Lo, the song starts with Jonas singing about wanting to get "close" to a girl. "Cause if I want you, and I want you, babe/ Ain't going backwards, won't ask for space/ Cause space is just a word made up by someone who's afraid to get too close," he tells her before Lo joins him for the second verse.
Earlier on Thursday, Jonas announced via Twitter that his new album would be called "Last Year Was Complicated" and would arrive on June 10. He also shared the official artwork and tracklist, which includes other new songs like "Under You", "Chainshaw", "Unhinged" and "Champagne Problems".
Fuck it. I'm gonna tell you the title.

"When I first started making I thought I knew what it would be about... Then I had a breakup. It then became very clear what this thing would be about... And that I would need to dig really deep," he added. "S**t is too real sometimes... Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard. But I know it's important that I do it. I want to be an open book in my art.."
