AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber has hit a big milestone on Vevo. The Canadian teen idol is announced to have become the first artist to rack up 10 billion views on the video-sharing platform. According to the company, the 22-year-old singer reached such an impressive number in just over six years.
Bieber has climbed up the top spot on Vevo's chart since September, collecting 4 billion views with his videos following the release of his new studio album "Purpose". He joins Katy Perry and Taylor Swift as one of the few artists with more than 1 billion views.
A music video for Bieber's 2010 claim-to-fame single "Baby" has gained over 1.3 billion views to date and a video for his more recent hit "Sorry" has been viewed for more than 1.1 billion times. Meanwhile, "What Do You Mean?" is close to hit the 1 billion mark with around 887.7 million views.
