TV

Mellie looks angry when she asks Olivia to fix her issue, while Olivia continues her lust-and-war game with Jake.

AceShowbiz - As if the arrival of a new presidential candidate isn't bothering Mellie enough, the former First Lady is facing another problem in the next episode of "Scandal". She apparently gets caught by reporters when she goes incognito and turns to Olivia for her help to fix it.

As Liz continues using David to influence Susan Ross, the Vice President accuses David of cheating on her. Meanwhile, Olivia's team may find dirt on Susan Ross, and Olivia declares she's going to win the game against her lover/enemy Jake.

"Pencil's Down" airs Thursday, March 24 at 9/8c on ABC. When Mellie makes a very public faux pas, Olivia must decide how far she'll go to fix it. Meanwhile, the Gladiators learn valuable intel about Jake's new love interest, and David Rosen seeks advice about his love triangle with Liz North and Susan Ross.

In the latest episode of "Scandal", oil tycoon Hollis Doyle (Gregg Henry) emerged as the new Republican nomination, after making Mellie reveal her campaign slogan. He's the Donald Trump-esque candidate which had been teased before and it's obvious due to his one-liners about immigrants. "If you're some pesky little border crosser, you won't be welcome," he declared.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Henry explains why his character decided to run for president, "He has big goals - to get rid of the EPA - and that's what he wants a candidate to tell him they're going to do. And because they don't - and because of the way Fitz treats him - he decides to throw his own hat in the ring. He is trying to get what he wants and give a little smack to all the rest of the people."

He also teases "a big showdown" with Mellie after he stole her entire campaign platform. "The debates, they're not quite as low-brow as the actual Republican debates but things about Fitz's transgressions are brought up as are things about Olivia running Mellie's campaign. How can your husband's ex-mistress be handling his ex-wife's campaign?!" he shares.

His "Scandal" role aside, Henry reveals he will reprise his role as Mitchum Huntzberger on the "Gilmore Girls" revival.
