AceShowbiz - Casey Affleck sadly announces that he has split from wife Summer Phoenix. A representative for the "Interstellar" actor confirmed in a statement on Wednesday, March 16 that the couple was ending their 10-year marriage.
"Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix have amicably separated. They remain very close friends," Affleck's rep told PEOPLE. It is yet clear at this point whether Affleck and Phoenix would file for divorce. They share two sons, 11-year-old Indiana and 8-year-old Atticus.
Affleck, the younger brother of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star Ben Affleck, and Phoenix, the younger sister of "Her" star Joaquin Phoenix, started dating in 2000 after co-starring in "Committed". They became engaged in 2003. Their first son was born in 2005 and the couple tied the knot shortly after in June 2006.
Affleck and Phoenix were last seen pictured together at Annual Garden Brunch at the Beall-Washington House, in Washington, D.C. in 2014.
