AceShowbiz - Harry Styles is going to make his first foray into feature film with a movie from "Interstellar" helmer Christopher Nolan. The One Direction star has been offered a role to join the director's next action adventure project "Dunkirk".

Styles' role is still kept under tight wraps but he is joined by Fionn Whitehead who has been tapped in the lead role. Meanwhile, big names in the cast ensemble include the likes of Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh.

The film is expected to depict the World War II evacuation of Dunkirk described by Winston Churchill as "a miracle of deliverance." Dubbed Operation Dynamo, it was a British military operation that saved Allied soldiers from the German army.

It's not the first time Harry Styles is offered a movie role. Harvey Weinstein previously revealed the singer turned down a role in Justin Chadwick's "Tulip Fever". The Brit who is currently taking hiatus from his boyband is also rumored to make an appearance on "Scream Queens" season 2.
